HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT GOLF AT sINTON GOLF COURSE RIGHT NOW.....

UPDATE ON CORONAVIRUS

Alright everybody.....here's the official scoop on playing at Sinton Golf Course. Please realize this is a fluid situation, and as things change we will post changes. Otherwise, what you see here are the rules that MUST be followed in order for us to remain open.
1) ONE person in the clubhouse at a time. There's an enter door and an exit door to help facilitate this.
2) ONE person per cart. Here are the exceptions:
**If you are married and can prove that you live at the same address.
**If you are related in some other way and CAN PROVE that you live at the same address.
**Parents with children under the age of 18 that CAN PROVE you are related --in other words, please don't just show up with the neighbor's kid and expect an exception.
(And as much as I hate to say this, yes, we will be asking for proof on all the above, so bring your driver's license, ID, etc with you!)
Sorry that we have to be so strict on this, but social distancing is still a thing and probably will be all summer long, so everyone's just gonna have to get used to it. Please remember that in order to rent a cart, you have to be 18 and out of high school. Those are the rules set by our insurance company and we have to follow them.
3) NO MORE than 4 players in a group!! This is a new one set by the Governor yesterday. So, sorry, no fivesomes of any kind. This will also apply to tournaments and the Pro-Am.
4) PLEASE do not touch the flagstick, or any golf balls that are not your own.

Sinton Golf Course has always been a first come/ first served course, and will remain so. Please don't call asking the staff to reserve a cart for you because you're "on your way" that isn't how it's done here. It's not uncommon right now for us to run out of carts in the late morning and at that point the wait is generally an hour to 90 minutes. If you don't want to wait, we suggest you come out early, or wait and play in the afternoon/ twilight hours.

Thank you for your patience and continued patronage while we work through this!!
